Ostuni’s cuisine is a perfect blend of the Murgia’s rural traditions and the flavours of the sea.
In the alleyways of the historic centre, you can dine in traditional trattorias, some carved entirely into the rock—such as the renowned Osteria del Tempo Perso—or enjoy an open-air dinner on flower-filled terraces, like La Taverna della Gelosia. Don’t miss the orecchiette with turnip tops and locally sourced grilled meats.
Surrounded by the countryside, you can enjoy a farm-to-table dining experience in historic masserie, where extra virgin olive oil is still produced from centuries-old olive trees.
